Configuring Airwallex
You need an API Key and Client ID from Airwallex for this integration.
Getting API Credentials
Log in to Airwallex
Log in to your Airwallex Dashboard.
Navigate to API Keys
Go to Settings → Developers → API Keys and click + New scoped API key.

Create and copy your key
Enter an API key name, select account-level permission and the relevant account(s), then click Create. Copy the API Key and Client ID.

Airwallex provides separate credentials for Test and Live modes. Make sure to copy the correct credentials for your environment.
Adding Credentials to PayLexer
Open PayLexer Dashboard
Log in to your PayLexer dashboard and navigate to Payment Gateways → Airwallex.

Enter your credentials
Paste the API Key and Client ID you copied from Airwallex.

Understanding Live/Production and Sandbox Settings:
| Environment | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Live / Production (Mandatory) | Used for real transactions. Cannot be empty, even when testing. |
| Test / Sandbox (Optional) | Used for testing only. No real money is processed. |
How PayLexer selects credentials:

Debug/Test mode ON → Test credentials are used

Debug/Test mode OFF → Live credentials are used
Test and save
Click Test Connection to verify your credentials, then click Save Configuration.

Configuring Webhooks (Mandatory)
Webhooks enable real-time payment updates and significantly improve reliability.

Open Airwallex Webhooks
Log in to Airwallex and go to Settings → Developers → Webhooks. Click + New webhook.

Configure the webhook
Enter a Webhook name, select account-level permissions, then copy the Webhook URL from PayLexer and paste it into the Notification URL field. Click Create.

Copy Webhook Secret
Copy the Webhook Secret that Airwallex generates.

Save in PayLexer
Paste the Webhook Secret into PayLexer, then click Save Configuration.

Integrate Airwallex to Your Website
If you have already added and configured your site, you can enable Airwallex in your existing setup.
Go to Websites
Navigate to Websites in your PayLexer dashboard.
Edit your website
Click the Edit Icon of your added website.

Enable Airwallex
Click the checkbox to enable Airwallex for the website.

If you haven't added a website yet, Continue to Add Your Website →
